Choosing the right flooring can be over whelming with all the options that are available. I did a lot of research while planning for my new build and I was most confident choosing Hallmark Floors for our home. I found Hallmark Flooring through a few Instagram designers early on in my designing process. I used the Camarilla Oak flooring as a roadmap to choosing the rest of the finishes in our home to compliment the natural white oak look of these floors.
I decided to go with Hallmark's luxury vinyl plank for a few reasons. Number one is that it is waterproof. We have a small dog and a baby on the way, so I wanted spill proof and durable. From a design perspective, I love the look of having the same flooring flow throughout the entire house without transition pieces, so we were able to use this throughout our entire home, including in bathrooms and wet spaces. Another important aspect is the install. They have a quiet padding built in with a 20mil wear layer, which if you have been researching floors you know 20mil is top of the line for comfort. The best added advantage is that these floors have anti bacterial and fungal control, so they are great for staying sanitized.
The style I chose is Camarilla Oak. It is the perfect light medium white oak color and has a natural wood grain texture to it that looks like real hardwood. The 9" wide planks, gives it a high end look and elevates the space. We have been living in our space for a little over a month and are loving these floors. We get the most compliments on them! They are so easy to clean, the color of them helps to mask any dirt, which is nice in between cleans, especially since we live on a dirt road. They have had red clay on them, messes dropped on them and cleaned up with just water, spotless.
Hallmark Floors offers many shades of luxury vinyl plank as well as real engineered hardwood flooring.
